Ireland Baldwin recently shared adorable photos of her toddler, sparking various comments from netizens about the child resembling the famous older Baldwin and his wife.
On January 15, 2025, Ireland Baldwin, the daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, delighted Instagram fans and followers by posting cute selfies with her baby girl, Holland.

Sharing a similar observation, a follower commented, “I forgot to say I see so much of you and your Mom in Holland. I watched “Nadine” for the 100th time and saw some similar expressions to KB. (sic)” However, another person questioned, “How does she look like your dad!?!”

While pregnant in January 2023, Ireland spoke about her excitement for motherhood during an interview on the Girlboss Radio podcast.
She said, “What I’m most excited about really is more centered around a lot of things that I really wanted in terms of stability as a child myself, that I didn’t have. What’s kind of exciting is I get to raise this little human and do things completely differently than what I was taught was the norm.”
The model continued, “It’s cool that I get to unconditionally love this person and do my best to make her as equipped for this world, and as bad[expletive] as possible.” When asked about baby names, Ireland revealed they had chosen “Holland.”
She explained that they chose a country name to match her own for consistency. Additionally, she shared that her love for actress Holland Taylor inspired the choice, having always found the name “classy and beautiful.”

The model also addressed nepotism, acknowledging that while she benefited from having famous parents, she was also talented in her own right. She admitted that her screenwriting scripts could reach influential people faster due to her parents’ connections, but ultimately, success depended on the recipients’ decisions.
Ireland explained that people didn’t realize she still faced rejection, emphasizing that talent and hard work remained essential.
Comparing screenwriting to modeling, she said, “It’s far more questionable because it’s like you could really be anybody as long as you’re somebody. And if you’re in that fashion industry they’ll take you on most of the time.”
She noted that while the modeling industry is open to many, it remains tough to break into. Ireland compared aspiring international models to “nepo babies” who often bypassed traditional hurdles, admitting this dynamic is “very unfair.” The star also tried acting, but it didn’t work out for her.
After welcoming her daughter, Ireland has consistently shared the child’s milestones. In a now-deleted May 18, 2023 post, she and her musician boyfriend, RAC, announced their child’s birth.

The photo showed the couple in a hospital bed, holding their newborn, whose face was covered by a blanket. The post included only the baby’s name and a pink heart. Ireland was 27, and RAC was 38 when Holland was born.

By December, Ireland reflected on 2023 by sharing a close-up photo of Holland’s tiny hand touching her finger. She expressed how becoming a girl mom taught her to slow down, listen better, and be more present.
Although she sometimes felt isolated, Ireland shared that her daughter’s love motivated her to grow and become her best self. Watching her daughter quickly outgrow clothes reminded her how fleeting life is, inspiring her to confront challenges directly.

Holland also encouraged her mother to embrace change and take action in 2024. For their first Christmas, Ireland posted a photo of the little girl sitting on the floor in red pajamas, facing away from the camera.
The model admitted that the holidays had been emotionally difficult due to her now-divorced parents’ custody battles. This led her to spend holidays with boyfriends’ families for comfort.

However, celebrating Holland’s first Christmas allowed Ireland to create the warmth and love she once longed for. She felt grateful to celebrate with friends and chosen family and wished every child could feel as loved as her own.

In February 2024, she posted mirror selfies showing her body nine months postpartum. She acknowledged she wasn’t where she wanted to be but was making progress by staying consistent and moving more.

The model admitted to setbacks like binge eating but stressed that it was okay to progress at one’s own pace. Her message promoted self-compassion and resilience, reminding others that personal growth is challenging but rewarding.
On her first Mother’s Day in 2024, Ireland shared Instagram photos of herself and Holland, writing, “Thank you for making me a momma! You changed my life and everything I have ever known.”

Humorously, the 29-year-old acknowledged that her daughter couldn’t read her post and that Instagram might be obsolete by the time she could, adding, “But I am so proud to have made you!!!”
In July, Ireland shared that she, RAC, and Holland had returned to Tokyo, Japan. The Instagram post included candid family photos, scenic shots, videos of fish, and images of their meals.
Ireland posted photos and videos of Holland meeting her young aunts and uncles for the first time the following month. Kim Basinger’s granddaughter was seen sitting on a couch with Hilaria Baldwin’s children, and one clip showed the little girl already walking.
Here’s to wishing Holland many more successful milestones as she continues growing under the loving care of her parents.
