Thanat Thangtewanon said just seconds after he sat on the toilet he felt a sharp pain rip through his testicles.

Shockingly, it was a huge python hiding in his home toilet that bit him.

“I quickly stood up and plucked it out. I felt pain, really bad pain, and there was blood everywhere, but I was more shocked to have found a python in the toilet.”

Thanat immediately grabbed a toilet brush and began whacking the 12-ft snake as hard as he could.

Thanat was immediately rushed to hospital following the nightmare-inducing incident to get a tetanus vaccine.

After seeing the pictures from the bedroom and the amount of blood on show, you’d think Thanat injuries would be pretty serious.

However, the damage was not bad as first feared.

Doctors ultimately told him he would need stitches and that would heal in a matter of weeks.

“My testicles are safe now. I’m lucky it wasn’t a venomous snake. A cobra would have killed me,” he added.

“But I haven’t used that toilet again since. Every time I go, I check what’s inside and put a brush in there to make sure.”

The snake, known as the reticulated python, is found throughout Thailand and Southeast Asia.

The species typically resides in forests, swamps and canals – though they can also be found in big cities.

As a result, they can come into contact with the general public as Thanat knowns all too well.

Surprisingly, pythons attacking people while they are on the toilet has happened several times before.

Back in 2016, Attaporn Boonmakchuay had his wife prise a python’s mouth from his penis after an unexpected toilet trip.

A man has spoken out about being bitten in the head by a bear and living to tell the tale.

On August 24, 2017, Jeremy Evans ventured into the Alberta woods in Canada to try and catch a ram with horns.

As he was out hunting, Jeremy noticed ‘a little brown thing’ run right in front of him, ‘less than 10 feet away’. He quickly realised it wasn’t a ram, but a grizzly bear cub.

Jeremy tells UNILAD he reached down to try and grab his bear spray from his backpack, but before he could find it, the cub’s ‘momma’ came into sight.

In a bid to scare the bear away, Jeremy threw his bicycle at her and struck her, ending up with some ‘pretty big holes’ in his hand.

The bear eased off briefly, but then ‘came charging back in a second time,’ and so Jeremy ran for his life, leaping into a tree.

Jeremy only managed to get five or six feet up before the mom bear ‘wrapped her paws around’ his right leg.

The bear then bit him – the first bite right to his face – and despite him trying to play dead, the momma bear kept attacking Jeremy.

He fought back, sticking his fingers in the bear’s eyes and ramming his ‘middle and index finger’ down the bear’s throat, but her hold was too strong.

Grabbing the bear’s underbelly, Jeremy briefly managed to get free and picked up his bag, took a photograph of his face and loaded his gun – but then the bear struck again.

He continues: “I heard the sound of ice breaking – the sound I was hearing was her teeth scraping against my skull and just crunching down on it.

“I was in a bad spot, totally screwed.”

Jeremy recalls how the bear’s claw then ‘caught […] the side of [his] face’ and ‘peeled everything back’ – the mom ‘gnawing on the back of [his] skull’.

Eventually, after grabbing the bear’s belly again, Jeremy was released from its jaws and immediately grabbed his phone to leave a message for his wife and daughter.

Convinced he wouldn’t make it out of the woods alive as a result of his horrifying injuries, Jeremy then pointed his gun at himself, but it didn’t go off.

The dad subsequently dragged himself up and ‘crawled’ onto a trail path, travelling for around six hours after his attack before he ended up reaching his truck and drove to a lodge for help.

Jeremy has since released a memoir titled Mauled: Lessons Learned from a Grizzly Bear Attack, speaking openly about the incident and not just the physical, but mental journey of recovery he’s been on since – the dad suffering from severe PTSD.

“I mean, guys are always supposed to be all tough and look after the family. But when you’re not mentally fit, you can’t do that. So ask for help.”

An 18-year-old sent an eerie text message to her friend just a couple of hours before being found dead by police.

In the early hours of Thursday, August 1, The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from Annabelle Margaret Floren-Wyant’s friend.

Annabelle had told her close male friend, whose name hasn’t been shared, of her plans to meet up with 26-year-old Jorge Meza Alarcon Jr. at his home in El Paso County in Colorado.

Apparently, the pair became acquainted over Snapchat and Annabelle went to Jorge’s house to ‘collect money’ from Jorge, who was apparently one of her Snapchat Premium subscribers.

The friend had dropped Annabelle off soon before 1AM, but he grew increasingly concerned about the 18-year-old after receiving a chilling text from her, for Annabelle to then go silent for 90 minutes.

Upon going into Jorge’s home, Annabelle had text her friend describing his demeanour as ‘weird’ and asked her pal to text or call her periodically to check that she was okay.

When he didn’t hear from Annabelle for some time, the unnamed friend called 911 and deputies went on to arrive at the scene to find Annabelle dead.

The teenager was found in Jorge’s bedroom with her underwear pulled down to her ankles and blood near her ear but no other obvious signs of trauma, Mail Online reports.

Police went on to track Jorge down around three miles from his home. He was found with facial injuries and told officers that he’d met with Annabelle for the purpose of having sex.

He went on to allege that while they were intimate, Annabelle asked for the money and as he turned to get it, the 18-year-old hit him in the back of the head with her cellphone.

Initially Jorge said that he’d blacked out after this and the next thing he remembered we was walking near where to police found him.

But later in an interview, the 26-year-old said that Annabelle previously threatened him and was uneasy about the encounter due to a vehicle remaining outside idling.

Fearing that their meet-up was some kind of plan to attack him, Jorge said he’d put Annabelle into a chokehold.

He has since been charged with first-degree murder.

According to court documents obtained by KOAA News, Jorge is also facing charges of animal cruelty and criminal mischief for allegedly strangling a dog to death in February 2024.

A family have suggested why two college students may have been victim to a suspected drink spiking incident on vacation.

Zara Hull, boyfriend Jake Snider and Kaylie Pitzer were just some of the members of a group of friends who jetted off to Cancun, Mexico, at the beginning of the month.

The occasion marked the first time Zara had left the US, but what was supposed to be a trip of a lifetime ended with the 20-year-old being hospitalized.

While at their hotel, Zara and Kaylie went to the swim-up bar for a glass of water and shortly after taking a sip both girls fell ill.

It’s now believed that the pair were spiked with synthetic fentanyl. This is yet to be proven, however.

While Kaylie went on to recover from the ordeal, Zara ended up being rushed to hospital and suffered at least 18 convulsions. She ultimately ended up on a ventilator in the ICU.

Fortunately Zara is now back in the US and is receiving ongoing treatment following the scary ordeal.

Zara and her boyfriend Jake have since raised concerns about the hospital she was treated at. The establishment allegedly asked for $10,000 up front for Zara’s care.

Following the ordeal, those close to Zara believe she was drugged with the intention of trafficking her.

Stephanie Snider, the mother of Zara’s boyfriend Jake, wrote on Facebook on August 10: “This time last Friday night we were in constant contact with my son on the phone while his girlfriend was in the so-called ICU in a Mexico hospital…so sedated that she couldn’t open her eyes or speak.”

Jake wasn’t able to stay by Zara’s side through the night and was allegedly forced to pay $200 to sleep on a separate floor of the hospital. According to his mom he was ‘afraid to sleep or close his eyes for fear of someone coming in and doing something to him’.

A fundraiser has been set up to help pay for Zara’s medical bills that are believed to be in the thousands.

The page has a $40,000 target and so far over $25,000 has been raised.

A British man who was given a ‘bionic penis’ after an accident has spoken out about his experience finally losing his virginity after years without a penis.

Most guys become pretty attached to their penis. They come in all shapes and sizes and most get pretty acquainted with theirs by the time they’ve reach adulthood.

However, British man Mo Abad had a significantly different experience growing up.

Abad, from Edinburgh, Scotland, unfortunately lost his penis as a child in a car accident back in the 1970s.

But towards his late-30s, Mo was given hope by an Edinburgh-based plastic surgeon who said that he finally had the means to give him a new penis – having seen Mo previously many years ago.

Mo said he had what’s known as a phalloplasty, which involves taking skin from a person’s arm or the back of their leg and ‘they roll it up like a Swiss roll and construct a penis out of it’.

He then said that an implant is placed into the device to allow the person with the bionic penis to have sex. The man with the bionic penis… sounds like an adult film parody of an 80s action film.

But with this development, Abad was able to finally have sex, although he would not feel the sensation of the act.

Speaking on the UK’s This Morning show, he explained to the hosts what it was like losing his virginity to sex worker, Charlotte Rose, who joined him on the show.

He said: “Initially I was nervous, it would be wrong of me to say that I wasn’t. Because I had never really been on a one to one with a woman.

“[Charlotte] was brilliant, I just went with the flow and left her in control.”

He added: “It was difficult because it was the first time I had used it. I was told, after I had my surgery to go and practice ‘inflate, deflate’.

Rose praised the doctors for the work they were able to do on Abad and said they had a brilliant time together. Closing by saying the pair of them thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
